Women’s Ministry

The women at Cornerstone actively participate in many ministry opportunities.  One of the main goals is to encourage women to be in God’s Word daily.  Knowing that God seeks relationships, we seek to know Him better by being in His Word and in His presence in prayer, seeking His will for our lives.

We encourage spiritual growth and Christian fellowship with other women through our weekly Bible Studies each Thursday morning at 9:30 and Thursday evenings at 6:30 – September to June.  Summer Bible Study meets Thursday mornings.

The women have a great time at special events throughout the year.  We have a Spring Tea in May inviting the community, and Christmas Tea and Boutique in November supporting a mission project.  Many of our women have served as short term missionaries and we continue to encourage others to respond to God’s call to evangelism, here and abroad.   We seek a time of refreshment, renewal and fellowship at our women’s retreats in the spring and fall.  We enjoy each other and have such a good time, that we also plan several ladies outings each year for fellowship.

We have an awesome group of women, seeking to be godly servants of our Lord Jesus Christ and have a great time in that journey.  Many of us struggle with our walk but we are fortunate to have each other to hold us accountable, to love us and help each other along the narrow path.  We welcome all to join any of these opportunities and look forward to chance to share the love of Christ.

Ephesians 4:12 “…to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.”
